The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops received a grant from the HHS Office on Women's Health to create educational and awareness raising materials primarily for medical practitioners, but also for child welfare professionals, educators and for refugee/immigrant women and communities that address Female Genital Mutilation/Cutting.
The grant has led to the development of new resources around general OB/GYN care, specific care around pregnancy, labor and delivery, and post-partum care/reconstructive options.
