Prayers

Prayer Library - CHA

Prayer, in the traditional Catholic definition, is a lifting of the mind and heart to God. With the hectic pace of life for many people today, prayer — however defined by any tradition of faith — has taken on more importance. If you have prayers, readings, poetry or other materials for spiritual reflection that you wish to share with your colleagues in ministry across the country, please send them to webteam@chausa.org

If you have any issues finding a prayer, please use the search box or contact us at webteam@chausa.org.

“Let us make this journey as families, let us keep walking together. What we have been promised is greater than we can imagine. May we never lose heart because of our limitations, or ever stop seeking that fullness of love and communion which God holds out before us.” – Pope Francis, Amoris Laetitia (On Love in the Family), 325.

2017 World Day of the Poor

WDP_LOGO_ENG-300x472Pope Francis has announced the World Day for the Poor as an annual observance on the Thirty-Third Sunday of Ordinary Time, a week before the Solemnity of Christ the King. In 2017, this is Nov. 19.

To help you reflect on our call to care for those who are poor and vulnerable, CHA has developed several resources. We share them with you and hope that you will share them in your ministries and communities.
