Prayer Library - CHA

Prayer, in the traditional Catholic definition, is a lifting of the mind and heart to God. With the hectic pace of life for many people today, prayer — however defined by any tradition of faith — has taken on more importance. If you have prayers, readings, poetry or other materials for spiritual reflection that you wish to share with your colleagues in ministry across the country, please send them to

2017 Month of Prayer

PopePraye_SmallPlease join CHA in making February a month of prayer for those who are sick and their caregivers

With Feb. 11, World Day of the Sick, as the centerpiece of this initiative, CHA will share a prayer a day for those who are sick Feb. 1-10. On Feb. 11 our prayer will commemorate World Day of the Sick. Then, from Feb. 12-28, CHA will share prayers for our members — the caregivers and leaders who answer God's call to foster healing, act with compassion and promote wellness for all.

Prayer to the Holy Family

“Let us make this journey as families, let us keep walking together. What we have been promised is greater than we can imagine. May we never lose heart because of our limitations, or ever stop seeking that fullness of love and communion which God holds out before us.” – Pope Francis, Amoris Laetitia (On Love in the Family), 325.
