"…For my yoke is easy, and my burden light." (Matthew 11:28-30)
Comforter of the weary: Lighten the burden of those who journey in search of safety, dignity, and hope. Ease their anxiety. Calm their fears. Steady their gaze. Let them find respite in You.
Lighten their load, Oh Lord.
Surround them with love, strength, and the healing presence of the Communion of Saints. May Your face be found in every person they meet, that they may encounter compassion where there is indifference, justice where there is exclusion, and hope where there is despair.
Lighten their load, Oh Lord.
