Gracious and Loving God,
We pray for those who were recently elected to serve our communities. Grant them wisdom, integrity, and a spirit of humility as they undertake the responsibilities entrusted to them.
Guide their decisions toward the common good that they may be always mindful of the most vulnerable among us. May they uphold the dignity of every person, seek justice, foster peace, and steward well the resources of our shared world.
Help them lead with compassion, courage, and a sincere commitment to the well-being of all. May their service reflect your love, justice, and peace, and may they work to build a society rooted in respect, unity, and hope.
We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
