In November 2025, the Catholic Health Association hosted a webinar for students, faculty, career services professionals, and campus ministers. The session highlighted career opportunities in mission, ministry formation, spiritual/pastoral care, and ethics within Catholic health care, and offered insights on how theological education can lead to impactful roles in the Catholic health ministry.

Mission Leaders

Dennis Gonzales, Ph.D., Senior Director of Mission Innovation and Integration at the Catholic Health Association, describes the role of the mission leader in Catholic health care, explaining how it has evolved to support the ministry's Catholic identity. Chaplains and Spiritual Care Advisors
