Catholic hospitals and clinics play a critical role in health care delivery in many low-income countries, often serving communities with limited access to advanced medical expertise. World Telehealth Initiative (WTI) partners with hospitals and clinics to provide ongoing specialty telehealth consultations and education. By leveraging technology, WTI connects volunteer clinicians from leading health systems around the world with their peers in resource-constrained health centers, building capacity and improving patient outcomes.
Catholic health leaders are invited to a networking call to learn how these partnerships function in practice and how they can support mission, clinician engagement, and global health equity. The session will highlight current WTI partnerships and the role U.S. Catholic health systems can play in strengthening care delivery in underserved regions.
