SSM Health Care — St. Louis has made the following changes: Robert William (Bill) Hoefer to president, SSM St. Clare Health Center, Fenton, Mo., from vice president of operations, Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, Norfolk, Va. Hoefer also will serve as service line executive, SSM Neurosciences Institute. Sheila Kuenzle to corporate vice president for patient business services, SSM Health Care — St. Louis. Susan J. Ell to vice president, SSM Health Care — St. Louis foundation.

Faye Deich to interim president and chief executive, Sacred Heart Hospital, Eau Claire, Wis., from chief operating officer.

ADMINISTRATIVE CHANGES

Jeffrey P. Dion to vice president of finance, St. Elizabeth's Medical Center, Brighton, Mass.

Patricia Ranzini to executive director, St. Anthony's Charitable Foundation, St. Anthony's Medical Center, St. Louis.

GRANTS AND GIFTS

Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center, Hartford, Conn., has received an anonymous $10 million gift. The gift will be used to continue to acquire technology and provide care.

Saint John's Health Center, Santa Monica, Calif., has received a $2 million grant from Blue Shield of California to participate more effectively in an accountable care organization.

Ministry Health Care, Milwaukee, has received an $85,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Division of Nursing. Ministry will use the funds to participate in a project called Supporting Onboarding and Retention of Rural Nurses.

Saint Thomas Health, Nashville, Tenn., has received a $61,000 grant from Susan G. Komen for the Cure Nashville Affiliate to fund free mammograms for African- American women.
