CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Health System of San Antonio and its CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital – Medical Center in San Antonio have announced these changes: Dr. Ian Thompson Jr. to president of CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital – Medical Center and vice president of the market oncology service line for the CHRISTUS Santa Rosa region. Thompson had directed the Cancer Therapy and Research Center at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Asha Rodriguez to administrator of CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital – Medical Center, from assistant administrator of that facility and of another CHRISTUS Santa Rosa hospital.
Also, Ken Haynes has resigned as president and chief executive of CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Health System, effective Jan. 20. He has accepted an executive leadership position with Carolinas HealthCare System of Charlotte, N.C. Dominic Dominguez will take over Haynes' responsibilities on an interim basis. He is senior vice president of operations for CHRISTUS Health – South Texas, responsible for two CHRISTUS markets.
Kenneth James to president of Mercy Health – Clermont Hospital in Batavia, Ohio, effective Dec. 5. He was chief executive of Tennova Healthcare – Harton in Tullahoma, Tenn.
ADMINISTRATIVE CHANGES
Organizations within Englewood, Colo.–based Catholic Health Initiatives have made these changes: Amy King to senior vice president and chief people officer of Centura Health of Centennial, Colo.; and Paul Warda to vice president of finance for CHI St. Luke's Health – Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center in Houston.
Elizabeth "Beth" Govero to chief nursing officer at HSHS St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Belleville, Ill.
Ron Saxton to executive vice president and general counsel of PeaceHealth, Vancouver, Wash.
Maria Mupanomunda to director of community health for St. Louis-based Ascension.
Nancy Hill-Davis to vice president of human resources for Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Regina McGraw to vice president, chief compliance officer, for St. Joseph's Health, Syracuse, N.Y.
