ADMINISTRATIVE CHANGES

PeaceHealth of Vancouver, Wash., has made these changes: Nancy Steiger to president of hospital services for the PeaceHealth Columbia Network, which includes PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver, and PeaceHealth St. John Medical Center in Longview, Wash. Dr. Mark Adams to chief medical officer for PeaceHealth.

Pittsburgh Mercy of Pittsburgh has made these changes: Eric Barley to chief financial officer; and William Connolly to mission director.

St. Joseph's Healthcare System of Paterson, N.J., has made these changes: Terry Pearl to vice president of development and chief development officer; and Sr. Patricia Mennor, SC, to vice president of mission.

Kevin Manemann to chief executive of St. Joseph Heritage Healthcare of Irvine, Calif., a physician practice management organization. He succeeds C.R. Burke, who retired.

Phyllis Doulaveris to chief nurse executive and system quality officer for Mercy Health of Cincinnati.

Maggie Fowler to system vice president, chief nursing officer – hospital operations for SSM Health of St. Louis.

Dr. Stephanie Mayfield Gibson to vice president of population health for KentuckyOne Health of Louisville, Ky., and chief medical officer for KentuckyOne Health Partners, an accountable care organization formed by KentuckyOne.

GIFTS AND GRANTS

The foundation of Kenmore Mercy Hospital of Kenmore, N.Y., has received a $2.3 million bequest from a grateful patient. The foundation board and hospital have yet to determine how they will use the unrestricted donation from local resident John M. Repetski, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, and a retired chief metallurgist with General Motors. The gift is the largest individual donation that Kenmore Mercy has ever received.

The Sisters of Charity Foundation of Cleveland has reported that it invested $1.3 million in grants and outreach from June 2014 through November 2015. The foundation said the investments help improve the lives of impoverished families, women and children. The funds also help reduce the infant mortality rate in Cleveland.

McAuley Ministries, Pittsburgh Mercy's grant-making foundation, has awarded $522,000 in grants to 12 Pittsburgh nonprofit organizations. The grants will support affordable housing, workforce development, education, health and wellness, community and economic development.

Bon Secours Baltimore Health System has received a $250,000 gift from Mr. and Mrs. Raphael Jenkins that will fund the Center for Sight & Vision at Bon Secours. The center will be located in the former St. Martin's Church building in West Baltimore.
