Spiritual/Pastoral Care Dialogues

Well-Being: Let's Practice and Stop Just Talking About It

Oct. 13, 2022
1 to 2:30 p.m. ET

About this Event

Delivering compassionate health care to patients and families relies strongly on personal well-being. We who offer care must first tend to our own holistic health. With the influx of newly developed well-being tools and resources, this 90-minute dialogue is designed to move participants out of information overload and into practical action.

Led by Diarmuid Rooney, Senior Director of Ministry Formation, and Jill Fisk, Director, Mission Services, participants will be guided into an immersive experience of well-being to:

  1. Assess one's own well-being and identify implications for ongoing self-care that impacts our ministry of caregiving
  2. Engage in well-being practice and dialogue
  3. Increase knowledge of best practices in facilitating well-being experiences with co-workers, patients, and families
*Participants are to complete a Personal Health Inventory prior to the virtual event.
