Spiritual/Pastoral Care Dialogues

Honoring the Religious Diversity of Our Staff: Leveraging the Expertise of Chaplains

Jan. 26, 2023
1 to 2:15 p.m. ET

About this Event

Chaplains are expert partners for mission, formation, and operational leaders seeking to improve the spiritual climate of co-worker well-being. In our pledge to intentionally engage diversity, equity and inclusion, The Catholic Health Association and many of our member ministries committed to putting our own house in order. As we seek to offer welcome to patients and communities, we must also ensure our employees can flourish with the religious diversity they bring to work each day.

In this 75-minute virtual dialogue, chaplains from various faith traditions will share tactics that support the religious diversity of all those who serve our Catholic health ministry. The conversation will highlight intentional practices around use of time, space, symbols, food, and communications with caregivers that promote a workplace of belonging.
