In the wake of the pandemic, racial and social strife, industry shifts and financial struggles, the role of the mission leader in Catholic health care continues to adapt and evolve. In order to keep our fingers on the pulse, CHA and the Mission Leader Advisory Council regularly conduct a ministry-wide survey of all mission leaders across the country. The latest survey, released in 2022, indicates some significant changes in the mission leader role — and other key areas that remain unchanged.

This webinar will delve deeper into relevant findings and allow for a robust, clear-eyed conversation about implications for the future of mission leadership. Following this survey review, we will discuss both our strengths and challenges as colleagues, highlighting strategies that must be implemented to prepare ourselves for a future where the mission leader remains an essential part of the Catholic health care ministry.
