Leadership Board of Trustees Nominations

Influence Catholic Health Care at the National Level

The Catholic Health Association of the United States (CHA) is now accepting nominations for its Board of Trustees. The deadline for submissions is Friday, December 12, 2025.

This is a unique opportunity for ministry leaders to unite with their peers across the nation in guiding the shared mission of Catholic health care, with a particular focus on CHA's strategic plan on behalf of the ministry, which centers on three pillars: Care for All, Health Reimagined, and United for Change.

Following its analysis of the board's collective competencies, given known departures over the next few years, the Governance Committee has determined that this year's board applicants must have at least one, ideally two to three, of the following attributes:

  • Experience in Church relationships;
  • Experience with communications, marketing, and public relations (including media relations); and
  • Experience with managed care, health care payment models, and/or population health.

We invite you to nominate qualified individuals for the Committee's consideration.

We request that all nominations be submitted by Friday, December 12, 2025, allowing potential candidates adequate time to complete the application process.
