PRESIDENTS/CEOS

Candace Jennings to regional president–hospital operations, for SSM Health Care – St. Louis, from senior vice president for Tennessee operations at Mountain States Health Alliance, Johnson City, Tenn.

Travis Andersen to president and chief executive of Columbia St. Mary's health system in Milwaukee, from president of St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton, Wis. Andersen replaces Mark Taylor, who retired.

Rick O'Connell, to executive vice president of the CHE Trinity Health East Group, from executive vice president of the CHE Trinity Health West/Midwest Group. He replaces Pete DeAngelis, who is departing CHE Trinity Health. Sally Jeffcoat replaces O'Connell as executive vice president of CHE Trinity Health West/Midwest Group, from president and chief executive of Saint Alphonsus Health System of Boise, Idaho. Rodney Reider, president of Boise's Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center, will serve as interim president and chief executive of Saint Alphonsus Health System.

Paulette Evans to interim president and chief executive of St. Joseph's Hospital in Breese, Ill., from chief nursing officer. She replaces Mark Klosterman, who has accepted a position with another facility.

Elias J. Neujahr to president of the Children's Hospital of San Antonio, from vice president of operations at Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids, Mich., where he also helped lead Helen DeVos Children's Hospital.

Joe Kortum to interim president of Harrison Medical Center, Bremerton, Wash., from president and chief executive of the Longview, Wash.-based Columbia Network of PeaceHealth.

Dr. Scott Eathorne to interim chief executive of Together Health Network of Michigan, the clinically integrated network formed in May by Ascension Health Michigan, CHE Trinity Health Michigan and affiliated physicians. Eathorne will take a leave of absence from his role as president of Partners in Care, a partnership between The Physician Alliance and Ascension Health's St. John Providence Health System of Warren, Mich.

ADMINISTRATIVE CHANGES

Dr. Ira Byock to chief medical officer of Providence Health & Services' new Institute for Human Caring in Torrance, Calif. That institute will focus on the physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs of patients and their families.

Susan M. Huber to senior vice president, global mission, governance and sponsor relations for St. Louis' Ascension.

Randall Combs to chief financial officer of KentuckyOne Health, Louisville, Ky.

Vondie Woodbury to vice president, community benefit for CHE Trinity Health of Livonia, Mich.
