Registered Dietician Day is observed on March 13.
The eyes of all creatures look to you,
and you give them their food in due time.
You open wide your hand,
grant the desires of all who live.
The Lord is just in all his ways
and loving in all his deeds.
The Lord is close to all who call him,
who call on him from their hearts.
(Psalm 145: 15-18)
Heavenly Father,
you are close to your children and grant us our just desires.
Confident in your fatherly care, we come to you in our need
and call to you from the depths of our hearts.
So many lack the gifts that you would give to all your children.|Give us our daily bread, O Lord,
that bread which sustains us in our earthly life,
and compel us to share that bread with others.|In this sharing bring us to hunger above all for your Christ,
the one who is for us the bread of everlasting life.
In Jesus’ Name we pray.
