Lord, thank you for the blessings of this day.
Let us open our eyes to the beauty that surrounds us this day.
Let us open our minds to the gifts that each of us brings to our work this day.
Let us open our hearts to all that we meet today to share our joy and happiness.
If we encounter sadness or despair in our work today may we be open to listening.
Grant us silence so we hear the message and wisdom to make a difference to those we serve. Let us remember that in serving others we serve you in God’s name. Amen.
