National Surgical Technologists Week is celebrated the second week of September.
Lord,
in the midst of the many needs of this world
we soon discover that our individual hands are not enough.
We rely upon one another, lean on one another, and trust one another
to serve as a team of care and attention for our patients and their families.
We thank you in a particular way today for our Medical and Surgical Assistants.
Without their presence and compassion,
the healing ministry we carry out in your name would simply not be possible.
Their attention to detail and timely support
make all the difference in the care that our patients receive.
Strengthen and encourage them, Lord,
and give them constant assurance of your love.
In your holy and blessed name we pray.
