The congressional schedule this fall is an abbreviated one due to the November elections, but following those Congress is scheduled to be in lame-duck session the week of Nov. 16. With several end-of-the-year deadlines looming the lame-duck session will need to address many health care issues, including preventing cuts to the Medicaid Disproportionate Share Hospital (DSH) program scheduled to take effect on Dec. 1. Our virtual conference will feature presentations from top health policy experts, congressional staff and members of the CHA advocacy team. The two-hour, online event will provide the information and resources you need to advocate our ministry’s priorities to Congress.
