Ministry providers among environmental award winners

Practice Greenhealth has named the recipients of its annual Environmental Excellence Awards, and dozens of Catholic health care providers are among the honorees.

The environmental leadership association honored winners during an awards presentation and gala at the 2012 CleanMed environmental conference in Denver in the spring.

The ministry honorees, and the categories in which they were recognized, are:

Environmental Leadership Award

The most competitive of the awards, this honor is for facilities that meet high standards for mercury reduction and recycling and that make progress on nearly every measure tracked for the award.
