PRESIDENTS/CEOS

June Collison to president of Community Hospital of San Bernardino, Calif., from chief operating officer, Olympia Medical Center, Los Angeles.

Susan Davis to ministry market leader for Ascension Health's Gulf Coast/Florida region and interim president and chief executive of that region's Sacred Heart Health System of Pensacola, Fla. She continues as ministry market leader for Ascension Health in New York and Connecticut; chief executive of St. Vincent's Medical Center of Bridgeport, Conn.; and president and chief executive of St. Vincent's Health Services in Bridgeport. Dr. Stuart G. Marcus replaces Davis as president of St. Vincent's Medical Center. Marcus previously was senior vice president, chief medical officer and chairman of oncology at St. Vincent's.

Sean Hogan to president of SSM DePaul Health Center, Bridgeton, Mo., from SSM Health Care-St. Louis service line executive director for ambulatory services. He replaces Pat Komoroski, who resigned.

Amy LaFine to president and chief executive of Provena St. Mary's Hospital, Kankakee, Ill., from interim president and chief executive.

Julie Manas to president and chief executive of Sacred Heart Hospital, Eau Claire, Wis., and division president and chief executive of the Western Wisconsin region of Hospital Sisters Health System. She was president of Genesis Medical Center and senior vice president of Genesis Health System, both of Davenport, Iowa.

Brian Smith to president and chief executive of Catholic Health Partners North Division, Cincinnati, from executive vice president and chief operating officer of St. Rita's Health Partners, Lima, Ohio. He replaces John Starcher, who has taken a position with Health Management Associates of Naples, Fla.

The east Missouri region of Mercy of Chesterfield, Mo., has made the following changes: Donn Sorensen to regional president and Dr. Charles Rehm to regional chief administrative officer. Sorensen, who was chief operating officer of Mercy Clinic in the east Missouri region, replaces Mike McCurry, who has served as interim regional president and continues to serve as Mercy executive vice president and chief operating officer.

ADMINISTRATIVE CHANGES

Donald H. Lloyd II to administrator of CHRISTUS St. Patrick Hospital, Lake Charles, La.

Jessica Rivas to chief nursing officer, Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center, Torrance, Calif.

Dee Eadie to executive director, Mercy Medical Center Hall-Perrine Cancer Center, Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Michael Andrews to director of continuous improvement, Provena United Samaritans Medical Center, Danville, Ill.

St. Mary's Health Center, Jefferson City, Mo., made the following changes: Teresa Elliston to director of care coordination and Jan Zimmerman to director of the clinic network.

Patricia Bancroft to chaplain, St. James Mercy Hospital, Hornell, N.Y.

GRANTS AND GIFTS

St. Mary's Hospital, Madison, Wis., has raised $1 million to construct a Ronald McDonald Family Room in the hospital.

The foundation of Alexian Brothers Health System, Arlington Heights, Ill., has received a $1 million donation from the CN, the Canadian National Railway Company. The funds will support the construction of Alexian Brothers Children's Hospital, Hoffman Estates, Ill.

Providence Little Company of Mary Foundation, Torrance, Calif., has received a $500,000 gift from the Vasek and Anna Maria Polak Charitable Foundation to help serve the primary care and cardiovascular needs of uninsured and underinsured working adults.

St. Francis Healthcare Foundation of Hawaii, Honolulu, has received a $100,000 grant from the First Hawaiian Bank Foundation to construct the St. Francis Intergenerational Center, which will provide health care for older adults and young children.

Mercy Medical Center of Roseburg, Ore., has received a $125,000 grant from the Regence Foundation to staff up and bolster the hospital's palliative care program.

HONORS

Di Smalley, regional president, Mercy Oklahoma communities, Oklahoma City, has been nominated as 2012-2013 chairman-elect of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

The Encino, Calif., Chamber of Commerce has honored Sr. Colleen Settles, OP, for her work on behalf of the poor and vulnerable. She is chief mission integration officer for Providence Health & Services of Southern California of Burbank, Calif.

NAME CHANGES

The merged organization of Provena Health of Mokena, Ill., and Resurrection Health Care of Chicago now is called Presence Health.

Saint Joseph's East Georgia, Greensboro, Ga., has changed its name to Good Samaritan Hospital.

St. Luke's Hospital, Jacksonville, Fla., has changed its name to St. Vincent's Medical Center Southside.
