Providence Health & Services of Renton, Wash., has made these changes: Barbara Bigelow to administrator of Providence Valdez Medical Center, Valdez, Alaska, from a regional vice president with PeaceHealth in Ketchikan, Alaska; and Cindy Mayo to chief executive for Providence Health & Services Southern Oregon Service Area in Medford, Ore., from chief executive at Providence Centralia Hospital, Centralia, Wash. Mayo replaces Larry Bowe, who served in the role on an interim basis.

Memorial Health Care System of Chattanooga, Tenn., has changed its leadership structure, so that the chief executive role is stationed at the system and the president role at each of the system's two hospitals. James M. Hobson continues as chief executive of Memorial Health Care System; Debra L. Moore to president of Memorial Hospital Hixson, in Hixson, Tenn., from senior vice president, Memorial Hospital Hixson; and Ricky D. Napper to president of Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, from president and chief executive of Magnolia Regional Health Center, Corinth, Miss.

Dr. Gaurov Dayal to interim regional president and chief executive of SSM Health Care of Wisconsin, Madison, Wis., replacing Steve Barney, who retired. Dayal is senior vice president–physician innovation and integration and chief medical officer for SSM Health Care.

Joseph M. Kortum is retiring as chief executive of the Columbia network of PeaceHealth, Longview, Wash.

Bill Manns to president of Mercy Health Saint Mary's, Grand Rapids, Mich., from chief operating officer, Alameda Health System, Oakland, Calif. He replaces Phil McCorkle, who is retiring.

Michael Rindler to chief executive of St. Anthony's Medical Center, St. Louis, from president of Integrity Hospital Company.

Theresa Rutherford to president and chief executive of St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital, Effingham, Ill., from chief operating officer at St. Mary's Hospital in Decatur, Ill.

Loretta Schmidt to president of the Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center Plymouth Campus, in Plymouth, Ind., from interim president and chief operating officer and chief nursing officer of the campus.

Carol L. Garikes Schneider to president and chief executive officer for Mercy Hospital & Medical Center, Chicago, from system chief operating officer of Cook County Health & Hospitals System of Chicago.
