Lord Jesus Christ,
through your dear humanity you became the instrument
of the Father’s healing purposes in this beloved, broken world.
In the fullness of time, you came among us to announce by word and deed your kingdom,
where suffering and disease will have no place.
Use our own imperfect humanity, blessed Lord,
to touch and console and give hope to those who come to us in need.
Give our pharmacists in particular the passion and skill
to continue to serve these needs through the medications they work with.
May their ministry be a part of yours,
so that our patients may feel comfort and restoration.
In your holy and blessed and healing name we pray.
