God who is peace:
In a world torn by conflict and aggression, we feel small and powerless. Thus, we cry out to You, O God of compassion. Turn our hearts toward your gift of peace in times of frustration and anger. Heal the wounds of hatred, fear, and violence that scar us.
Send Your Spirit upon the leaders of nations, that they may seek the justice of Your Reign. Create in them clean hearts, O God, and renew within them a steadfast spirit. Strengthen peacemakers with courage and grace to confront the roots of division.
Make us instruments of Your healing and ambassadors of hope,
so that, by Your mercy, our world and our hearts may be restored and renewed.
We ask this through the intercession of Mary, our Blessed Mother and Queen of Peace, AMEN.
