St. Joseph's Hospitals of Tampa to build campus in Riverview, Fla.

St. Joseph's Hospitals of Tampa, Fla., plans to build a $225 million hospital campus in Riverview, Fla., a fast-growing community about 13 miles outside of Tampa. The campus will include two medical office buildings.

Set to open in 2015, St. Joseph's Hospital-South will have 90 private rooms, an emergency department, intensive care unit, a mother-baby unit and medical-surgical department. The facility also will have 22 private observation rooms.

St. Joseph's is part of Clearwater, Fla.-based BayCare Health System, which operates under a joint operating agreement involving Newtown Square, Pa.-based Catholic Health East; South Florida Baptist and Morton Plant Mease.
