CHA is pleased to be able to offer several events and resources in April as a part of Minority Health Month, and in support of the ministry-wide equity initiative, We Are Called.

Film Viewing of "Toxic: A Black Woman's Story," followed by a Panel Discussion

A 20-minute film, "Toxic; A Black Woman's Story," which shows a "day in the life" of a Black woman as she navigates the myriad stressors of a typical day and their effect on her pregnancy and her family.

Huddle Reflections

Naming and talking about racism and health equity is challenging. CHA has developed 20 reflections – in brief “huddle”-ready formats or an extended version” – to be shared five per week during April. They are for small and large group formats, can be shared for electronic meetings or printed for in-person and can be used also by individuals.
