Patients at The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio get their hair, makeup and nails done by professional stylists during the Kidd’s Kids Glam Event in mid-July. The pop-up salon was open for a day in the pediatric hospital’s Child Life Center. Stylists from Toni & Guy, an international chain of hair salons, also brought their services directly to hospitalized kids who were unable to visit the salon. The Kidd’s Kids foundation, which sponsored the event, was founded in 1991 by the late Kidd Kraddick, a television and radio personality.
