Karen Bradshaw serves as the Regional Director of Community Health for SSM Health providing leadership in both the St. Louis and Southern Illinois regions working directly in rural, suburban and urban communities. She came to SSM Health in November 2022 with years of direct experience as a Social Worker and Nonprofit Executive with a specific focus on working collaboratively for equity-focused systems change. She brings a commitment to always striving for social justice, patient and community-centered care delivery systems and overall health equity.
Karen received her MSW from Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA and her undergraduate degree in US Foreign Policy from American University in Washington DC. Karen has lived and worked in multiple locations in the United States and abroad and brings those experiences with her to this role. With over 20 years now in St. Louis, Karen has developed a love and passion for the health and well-being of her community.
