Julie Bodnar Julie Bodnar serves as a policy and outreach advisor in the Office of Domestic Justice and Human Development of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. In this work, she analyzes federal domestic policy through the lens of Catholic Social teaching, especially in areas that impact the poor and vulnerable. She previously worked in social service and legal agencies supporting people experiencing poverty, homelessness, and housing instability. Julie holds a B.A. in Political Science and International Studies from Loyola University Chicago and an M.A. in International Peace Studies from the University of Notre Dame where her studies focused on how faith-based public policy advocacy can aid peacebuilding.
