Pulled from the archival interviews of Michael O’Loughlin, national correspondent for America Media and host of America’s podcast Plague, Hold Out Your Hand showcases a series of personal stories from the Catholic health care front, from a sister navigating the relationship between activists and the church to a father holding healing masses for patients struggling in their fight with AIDS. These stories serve as powerful reminders of our shared vision for Catholic health care: To empower bold change by elevating human flourishing.
Through these stories, we both celebrate the excellent work that has come before us and renew our resolve to care for the marginalized in our society. In doing so, we continue the healing ministry of Jesus and seek to build a society where all can flourish.
