The shift to population health and new delivery models is generating a wave
of partnerships among hospitals, physician networks, insurers and other health
care providers. While these partnerships benefit patients and communities with
increased access and quality of care, they may also pose potential challenges
for Catholic health organizations when other-than-Catholic entities do not share
all the moral teachings of the Catholic Church. Catholic organizations must
carefully address these challenges in light of the Principle of Cooperation in
order to morally navigate involvement with the wrongdoing of others.Presenter: John Paul Slosar, Ph.D., Vice President, Ethics Integration and
