Bridging Identity & Inclusivity to
Create Health Equity
A CHA Webinar Series
We are called to build true health equity. In the face of
COVID-19 testing, treatment and vaccine distribution, and as a part of our
ongoing work to end systemic racism, we must look internally and externally.
This four-event webinar series will look at Catholic
identity, other faith traditions, unconscious bias and discrimination in
caregiver interactions and share best practices happening now to create
opportunities for participants to gain inspiration and information. Working
together, we can improve Catholic health care, build right and just
relationships with our communities and advocate for change to end health
disparities and systemic racism.
As a part of CHA’s strategic plan to address health
disparities and end systemic racism, this webinar series is taking the place of
CHA’s biennial System Mission Leadership Forum. Building health equity is a work
that will take each and every associate, from volunteers at welcome desks to
cooks in residences, and so this webinar is not only for mission leaders, but an
opportunity for all those who want to more deeply understand how Catholic health
care can be transformed to achieve health equity and help end systemic
racism.
