Website FAQs
Who qualifies for access to the CHA member website?
Access to the CHA member website is restricted to those who work in a CHA member organization, Catholic diocesan office or U.S. and State Catholic conferences. If you are still not sure if you qualify, please fill out our online registration form and we will let you know.
What is on the member website that is not on the public site?
The member website contains additional content, resources and web-based features for our members. Some of the new features available to our members are online collaboration sites, web-based educational modules and daily news. We do share a good portion of content with the public, including our publications Health Progress and Catholic Health World.
Does CHA automatically send usernames and passwords to all CHA members?
No. CHA does not generate website logins for all members. Members are asked to sign up online using our online registration form. We will notify you once your access has been processed.
Why aren't registrations automatically processed?
Due to the nature of how CHA membership is determined, our staff needs to look at each request individually. With recent enhancements, our staff is able to process requests much quicker than before and most are processed within a couple of hours.
I cannot remember my password, can you look it up for me?
Visit the forgot password page to reset your password. Here you will be able to either reset your password by answering the "secret question" or request a temporary password. If have issues with the "forgot password" feature, please contact servicecenter@chausa.org.
I cannot remember my username and/or my username is not working.
For those who have activated or updated your account recently, your username is your email address. CHA performed a recent upgrade to our website that required members to "migrate" their account to our new system. It is possible that your account has not migrated to the new system yet and you will need to use your previous account information. If you need assistance, please contact webteam@chausa.org.
I recently logged in and was asked to re-enter my password. What is this?
This is part of our migration to a new security system. Please see the previous question.
If you have any questions not answered on this page, please contact Nick Osterholt, editor, CHA website at nosterholt@chausa.org.
