    It is unclear exactly how health care reform will impact Catholic health care providers. But, however reform plays out, it will be essential for ministry providers to adhere to their missions and values as they adjust to the changes.

    CHA has a new logo and tagline to better express the association's identity. The branding is designed to convey that Catholic health care providers are united in their healing mission and diverse in how they carry out that mission.

    A retired state bureaucrat, David Kaye has no training as a doctor, but he and other volunteers at St. Anthony Central Hospital in Denver are at the forefront of an innovative program to reduce readmission rates and improve patient satisfaction.

    At Exempla Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, almost half of the doctors work for one medical group. Among their exclusive domains are the emergency department and neonatal intensive care.

    Sr. Bonaventure Kusek, CR, died May 22 at age 91 at Chicago's Resurrection Medical Center.
