The webinar addresses the Requirement for Charitable
Hospitals (published April 5, 2013), which provides guidance on requirements for
tax-exempt hospitals in the Affordable Care Act (ACA) related to community
health needs assessments, implementation strategies, related reporting
obligations of section 60333, and consequences for failing to satisfy any of the
section 501 (r) requirements. The ACA added additional requirements to the
Internal Revenue Code (IRC) on 501 (c ) (3) hospital organizations to report on
a facility-by-facility basis.
