This interactive educational resource contains video, case studies, a
glossary of ERD terms and other supporting materials to provide physicians with
an understanding of the meaning and application of the ERDs in Catholic health
care, the guidance they provide and the special role physicians play in carrying
out the healing ministry of Jesus. The video features instructor Dan Sulmasy,
MD, Ph.D., physician and ethicist from the University of Chicago Medical School,
along with physicians, ethicists and church leaders from Catholic health care in
a multipart format that addresses the Introduction and each of the six parts of
the ERDs. Components include: Prayers, case studies and response keys,
facilitator guide, glossary, selected readings and media, evaluation and
acknowledgments. Designed for individual or group learning, the resource may be
viewed in whole or in part as schedules permit. This product has
not yet been updated to reflect changes in Part 6 of the
ERDs.
The CD portion of this resource is available with compatiblity
for Internet Explorer 6-7 or Internet Explorer 8 and above.
