This webinar covered the basics of what counts as community benefit. Trina Hackensmith of Lyon Software and Julie Trocchio of CHA used basic guidelines from the IRS Form 990, Schedule H Instructions and CHA’s A Guide for Planning and Reporting Community Benefit to review the categories of community benefit and what should and should not be reported in each. They also went over recent questions submitted to the CHA’s What Counts Hotline.
