CHA's Physician Leader Forum is an important gathering of
physician leaders, CEOs and mission leaders. Each year a planning committee of
physician and mission leaders selects timely topics that address relevant issues
affecting physicians in the ministry.
Physician well-being—from personal, organizational
and leadership perspectives—will be the focus of this year’s forum. The
program will deal with some of the external and internal factors that contribute
to physician burnout. The program will provide presentations and time to discuss
issues physician leaders in Catholic health care are currently
Leading practices in physician wellness and formation
utilized in Catholic health care and other organizations will be also be
highlighted. This will allow participants to learn practical and replicable
tools they can bring back to their ministry. Ample time will be given for
skill-building, reflection and networking.
