M.A. IN HEALTH CARE ETHICS
The master's program in health care ethics at Saint Joseph's University is designed to prepare individuals for the complex and growing field of biomedical ethics. The program fosters a critical analysis of bioethical topics through the interplay between moral theory and medical practice.

Director of Ethics
Providence Health Care

Providence Health Care is seeking an ethicist who is well-versed in clinical ethics and possesses a thorough knowledge and understanding of the Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care Services to guide development of an integrated health care ethics service in Eastern Washington. In addition to clinical consultation, the director of ethics will develop an ethics education program for the various medical residency programs, medical students, and staff. A master's degree with a focus on medical ethics is required. Ph.D. is preferred.

Mercy Health Partners is seeking a director of ethics. Reporting to the corporate director of ethics, Catholic Health Partners (CHP), the position will provide assistance to management, physicians and associates within the Central Division of CHP. Qualifications include a Ph.D. in ethics, at least five years of health care ethics experience and knowledge of ethical teachings and the Roman Catholic church as it relates to ethics.
