Chris Cullom to president of Mercy Catholic Medical Center, part of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic. In this role, he will oversee operations at Mercy Catholic Medical Center – Mercy Fitzgerald Campus in Darby, Pa., and Mercy Catholic Medical Center – Mercy Philadelphia Campus. He was assistant executive director at the University of Pennsylvania Health System/Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He succeeds Sue Cusack, who is retiring.
Michael Ricks to chief executive of Providence Saint John's Health Center in Santa Monica, Calif., and of the hospital's John Wayne Cancer Institute, effective Sept. 30. He was executive vice president and chief operating officer at Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian in Newport Beach, Calif. He succeeds Marcel Loh, who is retiring.
John C. Yanes to president of Saint Joseph London of London, Ky., and Saint Joseph Berea of Berea, Ky., effective Sept. 9. He was chief executive of Andalusia Health in Andalusia, Ala. The Kentucky facilities are part of CommonSpirit Health's CHI Saint Joseph Health.

OBITUARY
Michael Mahoney, who was Essentia Health's vice president of public policy, died Aug. 22. Six of Duluth, Minn.-based Essentia's 15 hospitals are part of the Catholic health ministry.
