John A. Ludwig to president and chief executive at HSHS St. Joseph's Hospital in Highland, Ill., effective Sept. 19. He was chief operating officer of Bridgton and Rumford Hospitals, two critical access hospitals in Maine.
Gay Nord to president of CHI St. Luke's Health – Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center of Houston, effective Oct. 3. She was president and chief executive of Methodist Hospital in San Antonio. She replaces interim president Dr. William Brien, who will resume his role as vice president of medical operations and chief clinical officer at Baylor St. Luke's.
Philip Gustafson plans to retire Feb. 3 as president and chief executive of SSM Health of Southern Illinois, which includes SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital – Mt. Vernon and SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital – Centralia.
