St. Louis-based Ascension and its facilities have made these changes: Dr. Michael Schatzlein to president and chief executive of St. Vincent's HealthCare of Jacksonville, Fla., and senior vice president, ministry market executive for Jacksonville and group operating executive for Ascension Health, from president and chief executive of Saint Thomas Health in Nashville, Tenn. Bernie Sherry to chief operating officer of Saint Thomas Health of Nashville, from president and chief executive of Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital and Saint Thomas West Hospital of Nashville. Don King to president and chief executive of Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital and Saint Thomas West Hospital, from chief operating officer of those facilities. Todd Kennedy to president of Providence Health System of Mobile, Ala., from Providence executive vice president and chief operating officer.
John Ferrelli to president and chief executive of Seton Medical Center of Daly City, Calif., with additional responsibility for Seton Coastside of Moss Beach, Calif. Ferrelli was chief administrative officer of USC Norris Cancer Hospital in Los Angeles. He replaces Joanne Allen, who will retire Sept. 18.
