Dave Fikse to president of Mercy Health's Cincinnati market, from Mercy Health — Cincinnati chief operating officer. Fikse succeeds Mike Garfield, who was promoted to president of Bon Secours Mercy Health's newly formed Mid-American Group. Mercy Health is part of Bon Secours Mercy Health.
ADMINISTRATIVE CHANGES
Lisa Medina to chief nursing officer for Ascension's St. John Health System in Tulsa, Okla. Medina also is chief quality officer for the system.
Providence Health & Services Alaska of Anchorage has made these changes: Dr. Michael Bernstein to chief medical officer of Providence Health & Services Alaska and Dr. Thomas Yetman to Providence Medical Group Alaska chief executive.
GRANT
Regina Health Center of Richfield, Ohio, has received $1 million in gifts to mark its 25th anniversary. Regina is a long-term care complex that is part of Cleveland's Sisters of Charity Health System. The facility will use the money to renovate resident rooms, many common areas, nursing stations and more. Katie and Charles (Bud) Koch provided the lead gift of $500,000. Bud Koch is the former chairman, president and chief executive of Charter One Financial.
