Organizations within SSM Health of St. Louis have made these changes: Mike Bowers to chief operating officer for the St. Louis region of SSM Health, from president of SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital — St. Charles, Mo. Lisle Wescott, who is president of SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital — Lake Saint Louis, Mo., will expand her role, so that she also will be president for St. Joseph Hospital — St. Charles. Steve Little to the new position of chief operating officer for SSM Health's Wisconsin region. He was president and chief executive of Agnesian HealthCare of Fond du Lac, Wis., which joined SSM Health in January.
Organizations within Trinity Health of Livonia, Mich., have made these changes: Beth Hughes to president of Mercy Medical Center — Sioux City of Sioux City, Iowa, from vice president of hospital operations and strategy at The Advis Group in Mokena, Ill. Daniel P. Moen to president of St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton, N.J., from interim senior vice president for Covenant Health of Tewksbury, Mass., and interim president of Covenant's St. Joseph Hospital of Nashua, N.H.
Gwen MacKenzie was to depart April 30 as ministry market executive for Ascension Michigan. Dr. Joseph Cacchione is interim ministry market executive for Ascension Michigan. He also is continuing in his current role as president of Ascension Medical Group.
Dave Underriner will depart as Providence Health & Services Oregon chief executive in mid-May. He will be regional president for Kaiser Foundation Health Plan and Hospitals of Hawaii. Theron Park, who heads Providence's Oregon delivery system, will replace Underriner on an interim basis while a national search is conducted for a permanent chief executive.
