Kerry Swanson to president of hospital operations for SSM Health's Southern Illinois region, from president of SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital Janesville, Wis.
Providence Health Care, part of Providence St. Joseph Health, is reorganizing its leadership structure and eliminating the chief executive position for Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center and Providence Holy Family Hospital, both of Spokane, Wash. Alex Jackson has resigned from that now-defunct role, effective Feb. 17. Elaine Couture will continue as chief executive of the Providence Health & Services Eastern Washington/Montana region. She has oversight of the two Spokane hospitals.
Brian E. Connor to president of CHRISTUS Spohn Hospitals Corpus Christi's Shoreline and Memorial campuses, both of Corpus Christi, Texas. He was chief administrative officer and chief operating officer for Hillcrest HealthCare System in Tulsa, Okla.
ADMINISTRATIVE CHANGES
Facilities within Trinity Health of Livonia, Mich., have made these changes:
Dr. Michael Davenport to chief medical officer of Mercy Hospital & Medical Center of Chicago;
Loretta Schmidt to chief nursing officer of Saint Joseph Health System of Mishawaka, Ind.; and
Sarah Gilbert to vice president of operations for St. Mary Mercy Livonia.
SCL Health of Broomfield, Colo., has made these changes: Dr. Cara Beatty to president and chief medical officer of Denver-based SCL Physicians and Scott Baker to chief operating officer for SCL Health's medical groups and provider services.
Susan Bruechner to senior vice president and chief human resources officer for PeaceHealth of Vancouver, Wash.
CHRISTUS Health of Irving, Texas, and one of its facilities have made these changes: Debi Pasley to chief nursing officer for CHRISTUS Health; and Wray Borland to vice president of operations at CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Corpus Christi Shoreline in Corpus Christi.
Adam Groshans to chief operating officer at Community Mercy Health Partners of Springfield, Ohio.
Nancy Melcher to chief nursing officer at Carondelet St. Joseph's Hospital in Tucson, Ariz.
