PRESIDENTS/CEOS

Deborah Proctor is retiring as president and chief executive of St. Joseph Health in Irvine, Calif., effective Dec. 31.

Jesse Jantzen to president and chief executive of Ascension Health Senior Care of St. Louis, from president and chief executive of Elder Care Alliance in Alameda, Calif.

Rodney D. Reider to president and chief executive of Saint Alphonsus Health System in Boise, Idaho, from interim president and chief executive of the system.

Jerry Wordekemper to president and chief executive of Franciscan Care Services of West Point, Neb., from chief operating officer. Wordekemper replaces Ron Briggs, who is retiring.

Kathleen Rhine to regional president and chief executive for Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center of Joliet, Ill., and Presence St. Mary's Hospital of Kankakee, Ill., from chief administrative officer for Presence Health of Chicago. She replaces Beth Hughes, who resigned.

Michael Baumgartner to president of St. Francis Hospital & Health Services in Maryville, Mo., from president of Baptist Health, Madisonville, Ky. He replaces Gray Cox, who is retiring.

Darryl VandenBosch to president of Dignity Health St. Bernardine Medical Center in San Bernardino, Calif., from vice president and chief financial officer for Dignity Health's six Southern California hospitals. VandenBosch replaces Steven Barron, who now is Dignity Health senior vice president of operations for the six hospitals.

Cynthia A. Finter to senior vice president for payer strategy, innovation and operations for PeaceHealth of Vancouver, Wash.

Dr. Randy Curnow to president of Mercy Health Physicians – Cincinnati and Springfield, Ohio.

Jodi L. Hein to vice president and chief nursing officer at Dignity Health St. Mary Medical Center in Long Beach, Calif.

Dr. Syed A. Raza to chief medical officer at CHI St. Luke's Health – The Woodlands Hospital in The Woodlands, Texas.

Dr. Kevin Blair to medical director for women's services network for CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital – New Braunfels in New Braunfels, Texas.

GIFT

Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center of Hartford, Conn., in partnership with the Hispanic Health Council, has received a grant of nearly $500,000 from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation. The funds will expand a breast-feeding program to low-income African-American and Hispanic mothers who are patients at Saint Francis' women's health center.

Sr. Corry

Sr. M. Elizabeth Corry, OSF, former president of Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center of Camden, N.J., died Feb. 7 at age 91.
