Krista Farnham to chief executive for Providence Portland Medical Center of Portland, Ore., and she will lead Providence Oregon's eastern region. Previously, Farnham was the medical center's chief operating officer.
Mary Kingston to chief executive of the PeaceHealth Oregon network of Springfield, Ore., effective July 30. She was chief executive at Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Centers, San Pedro and Torrance, Calif.
ADMINISTRATIVE CHANGES
Mary L. Hill to executive vice president of mission for Avera Health of Sioux Falls, S.D.
Dr. Charles Keller to chief medical officer of Mercy Medical Center — Des Moines, Iowa.
Rosemary Port to administrator of Little Flower Manor of Darby, Pa. She replaces Rosanne Graham, who is retiring after 27 years with the manor but who will remain a member of the facility's board of directors.
OBITUARY
Edward J. Connors, who was president of Mercy Health Services in Farmington Hills, Mich., from 1976 to 1993, died May 17. He was 89. Mercy Health Services consolidated with Holy Cross Health System in 2000 to form Trinity Health, which is headquartered in Livonia, Mich.
NAME CHANGE
Starting Oct. 1, St. Anthony's Medical Center of St. Louis will have a new name, Mercy Hospital South, to reflect that it is now affiliated with Mercy health system of Chesterfield, Mo.
