Sisters of Mercy Health System, Chesterfield, Mo., has made the following changes: Frank Cognata to chief development officer and Nancy Schnoebelen to director of advancement communications, both in Mercy's philanthropic services.

Tammy Buseman to director of hospice and palliative care, Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

GRANTS AND GIFTS

Covenant Joe Arrington Cancer Research and Treatment Center, part of Covenant Health System, Lubbock, Texas, has received from the Susan G. Komen for the Cure three grants totaling more than $111,000. These grants will assist women with transportation, lodging, medication, screening and diagnostic services, education, survivorship programs and more.

OBITUARY

Sr. Marilyn Fischer, SFP, who was once general councilor of the Franciscan Sisters of the Poor, died May 9, at age 74.
