Ascension has made these market-level changes, effective July 1: Don King to senior vice president, Ascension, and ministry market executive, Ascension Florida and Gulf Coast. He was senior vice president, Ascension, and ministry market executive, Ascension Kansas. Kevin Strecker to senior vice president, Ascension, and ministry market executive, Ascension Kansas. Strecker was chief operating officer for Ascension Via Christi in Kansas.
Faraaz Yousuf is departing as president of Bon Secours Richmond in Virginia, to join WellSpan Health as its executive vice president and chief operating officer. Bon Secours is conducting a national search for a new market president.
ADMINISTRATIVE CHANGES
Organizations within Vancouver, Washington-based PeaceHealth have made these changes: Dr. Sarah Garber to chief medical officer of PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver. Dr. Scott Foster to chief executive of the PeaceHealth Medical Group.
HONOR
Dr. Rhonda M. Medows has been appointed to a three-year term as a member of the Medicaid and CHIP Payment and Access Commission. Medows is president of population health management at Providence St. Joseph Health and chief executive of Ayin Health Solutions. She is CHA board chair for the 2021-2022 fiscal year.
NAME CHANGE
Ascension has renamed its health care facilities in northern Illinois. The rebranding is part of Ascension and AdventHealth's unwinding of AMITA Health. AMITA was the joint operating company that Ascension and AdventHealth had formed more than seven years ago. Ascension retained 14 hospitals and more than 150 other care sites in Illinois previously identified as part of Alexian Brothers Health System and Presence Health. A marketing and advertising campaign across the greater Chicago area is introducing the Ascension Illinois division.

- Ascension Medical Group physician practice, from Chicagoland to Kankakee
