Justin Doss to market president of CHRISTUS Spohn Health System of Corpus Christi, Texas, from CHRISTUS Spohn chief operating officer.
Bob Ritz to chief executive of Mercy Health Network of West Des Moines, Iowa, effective July 1. He was president of Mercy Medical Center — Des Moines, Iowa. He replaces Dave Vellinga, who is retiring.
Carolyn Caldwell to president and chief executive of Dignity Health — St. Mary Medical Center of Long Beach, Calif., effective this month. She was chief executive at Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, Calif.
David Flicek to president and chief executive of Avera McKennan Hospital & University Health Center of Sioux Falls, S.D., effective July 1. He will retain his role as chief administrative officer of Avera Medical Group. He replaces Dr. Dave Kapaska, who will retire as regional president and chief executive of Avera McKennan Hospital & University Health Center, effective June 30.
Kelly Linden to chief executive of Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, Calif., effective May 1. She was executive vice president and chief operating officer at St. Joseph Health, St. Mary in Apple Valley, Calif. She replaces Kerry Carmody, who was interim chief executive.
James "Jay" L. Robinson III to president of Presence Saint Joseph Hospital — Chicago, effective June 12. He was senior vice president and chief executive at Methodist South Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. He succeeds interim president Martin Judd.
Dr. Chad Whelan to president of Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Ill., from senior vice president and chief medical officer. Whelan also is a professor in the department of medicine for Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. He will continue in that capacity.
Jack Ivie will retire as president of Dignity Health — Glendale Memorial Hospital in Glendale, Calif., effective June 30.
