OBITUARY
Sr. Mary Stanton, RSM, died July 30 at age 73. She co-founded Bethany House Services Inc., a Cincinnati-based social service agency, and was its executive director from 1984 to 2014. She co-founded Catholics
United for the Poor and served on its board. For the past seven years, Sr. Stanton was executive coordinator and mission director for Mercy Neighborhood Ministries, a Sisters of Mercy-sponsored ministry. She was on the board of Mercy Health —
Cincinnati and on Bon Secours Mercy Health's public juridic person.
